Flagler_banner_June16VISIT FLORIDA’s 2015 Flagler Awards competition is underway and now accepting entries from the countless organizations and individuals who use their talents to market Florida to the world.  The deadline for entries is Tuesday, June 16.

Named for the vision, perseverance, imagination and commitment of Henry Flagler, the Flagler Awards were established to recognize outstanding tourism marketing in the Sunshine State.  Each year since 1999, the Flagler Awards have honored the efforts of those who help maintain and improve Florida’s position as the No. 1 travel destination in the world.  And this year, the award entry process has been moved online.

To register and enter the Flagler Awards, visit the new entry portal at visitflorida.org/flagler.  In addition to providing a streamlined entry process, the new site includes all the information needed to prepare and submit award-winning work online – submission guidelines, FAQs, tips from judges, sample entries, online payment options and more.  For questions about the new entry process, send an email to flaglerawards@visitflorida.org or contact Kevin Hayworth at 386-677-7000.

This year’s Flagler Awards ceremony will take place on the opening night of the annual Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism being held Aug. 31 – Sept. 2, 2015 at the Tampa Convention Center.  For more information, please email flaglerawards@visitflorida.org.
