VISIT FLORIDA’s New Spring Campaign Receives Early Praise

VISIT FLORIDA has just launched our Spring marketing campaign and it’s already receiving praise.  Today in a Skift article, VISIT FLORIDA’s new television spot was named one of the ‘5 Best Travel Ads to Watch This Week.’  The ad was spotlighted because “Visit Florida does a great job of showing parents why Florida is a good choice for families instead of just telling them.”

Skift went on to explain “The state’s ads have to appeal to two sides of a visitor’s brain — one that wants to pick a family-friendly destination for their child and the other that wants to choose a vacation that they’ll also enjoy.  This ad does both — while also touching on the state’s sunny weather.”

That’s a perfect synopsis of VISIT FLORIDA’s plan to encourage visitors to ‘Say Yes to Florida‘ this Spring.   We know parents want to provide a vacation that creates lasting memories.  During this season, VISIT FLORIDA’s campaign lets consumers know Florida offers family vacations where ‘yes’ happens more.

The television spot is supported by print ads  that show Florida as the easy way to say yes to beaches, theme parks and other endless ways to play.  You can see it  in publications like  Travel + Leisure and Food Traveler.  There is also a campaign landing page where visitors can plan their memorable Florida vacation on VISITFLORIDA.com.

In addition to television and print ads, the campaign – which runs through May 31 – also utilizes digital, OOH and traffic radio sponsorship executions.  VISIT FLORIDA’s key advertising markets for this campaign include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
