Florida Attractions Finder Now Includes Agritourism Options

Ag Finder screenshot 3Today, Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam and VISIT FLORIDA announced a joint effort to highlight the state’s growing agritourism industry by adding a new feature to the Florida Attractions Finder.  This video-rich online tool, which allows travelers to identify attractions that best fit their personal preference, has been viewed more than 112,000 since its inception in May. VISIT FLORIDA Launches Black History Month Campaign with BET

For the first time ever, VISIT FLORIDA has partnered with BET to launch a nationwide campaign for Black History Month.  VISIT FLORIDA collaborated with destination partners in Miami, Overtown, Orlando and Eatonville, as well as prominent African Americans in the travel and tourism community, to create a series of short stories that tell of the rich heritage and culture found around the state. VISIT FLORIDA and NatGeo Launch New Florida Editorial Hub

I am proud to share that today National Geographic launched its new online hub dedicated to the 50 best wild and natural experiences in Florida.  The first 25 experiences — by land — are live today, and another 25 — by sea — are planned for launch in February.  These are transformative travel experiences that are accessible to locals and visitors alike.  The hub is the result of a three-year partnership between National Geographic and VISIT FLORIDA to tell the world about Florida’s great outdoors.
