VISIT FLORIDA’s 2015 Florida Huddle trade show will take place January 14-16 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center.   Today marks the opening of supplier registration for Florida Huddle, with buyer registration following next month on July 16 at Noon EST.

Florida Huddle is Florida’s foremost travel trade event, welcoming travel suppliers from across the state to meet directly with hundreds of domestic and international buyers.  By providing expanded branding opportunities and leveraging our international in-country teams’ travel trade relationships, we expect to attract new and returning attendees that will take Huddle to a whole new level.

Featuring pre-requested, pre-scheduled appointment sessions and networking opportunities, this forum offers three days of Florida-focused productivity.  Each buyer delegate is responsible for sending several thousand to several million travelers to Florida annually.   Suppliers also have access to global exposure from a distinguished media delegation which produces Florida-focused editorial pieces published worldwide.

Last year’s event – the first Florida Huddle coordinated by VISIT FLORIDA – saw a 14 percent increase in qualified buyers from 19 different countries, including Australia, Germany, Japan, Spain, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.  With 619 delegates representing 345 companies, the appointment-scheduling goal of a 1:1 ratio among buyers and suppliers was achieved.  Travel-trade media coverage was expansive with 29 publications from the U.S., Canada, the UK, Brazil, Germany, Belgium, Argentina, Venezuela and Costa Rica.
