VISIT FLORIDA’s #LoveFL Surpasses One Billion Impressions

I am proud to announce that VISIT FLORIDA’s #LoveFL now has more than one billion earned impressions.  Since launching just over a year and a half ago, the hashtag has been increasingly embraced by Florida fans.  We know travelers are most influenced by recommendations from friends and family, and the #LoveFL initiative has proven to be a great way to celebrate the Sunshine State and capture that engagement.  

Here are some of the stats:

  • We have a current army of nearly 200,000 advocates.  This audience grows monthly, especially as people gain exposure to the content shared with #LoveFL they are inspired to become actively engaged in sharing their unique Florida experiences.
  • We have a loyal audience with an engagement rate of approximately 44%.  As a comparative benchmark, average brand social engagement rates run somewhere between 2-3%.  Our audience is most engaged on Instagram with a 77.62% engagement rate.
  • To date, we have over 481,000 pieces of content that have been tagged and shared.
  • #LoveFL is mentioned about 51 times in an hour – that’s nearly once every minute.
