VISIT FLORIDA & Partners Host Successful Brand USA China FAM

VISIT FLORIDA recently teamed up with Brand USA, Hainan Airlines, Visit Orlando and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau to bring 21 China travel trade, media and airline representatives to Florida.  China continues to be an important emerging international market for VISIT FLORIDA, showing 32% and 43% increases in visitation and visitor spending respectively in 2013.

FAM tours like this allow international journalists and trade representatives to experience first-hand the wide variety of travel experiences our state has to offer and, in turn, relay that information to their clients and  readers.  FAMs are also a great marketing resource for both our clients and host destinations since they allow them to build product  knowledge of the destinations, as well as build relationships with each other.

In addition to visiting some of Florida’s great theme parks, museums, shopping malls and restaurants, a few of the more off-the-beaten-path highlights of this China FAM for the agents and media included an airboat ride, an alligator show and a walking tour of the Wynwood Art Experience in Miami.
