VISIT FLORIDA recently hosted a branded mega-booth with six of our Industry Partners for the 41st Annual IncentiveWorks, Canada’s premiere meetings and events show.  Having welcomed more than 3.7 million Canadian visitors to the Sunshine State in 2013 – of which over 600,000 came for conventions, conferences and trade shows – VISIT FLORIDA is proud to continue our tradition of participating in the largest and longest running marketplace for buyers of meetings, incentive travel services and business events in Canada. Our VISIT FLORIDA Marketing and Events team, with the help of our Partners, recently hosted two VIP (Very Important Planner) events.  The first took place in Minneapolis, which is a top ten air market and top 15 origin market for visitation to Florida.  The other was in Chicago, Florida’s third ranked top designated market area (DMA).  Both events proved to be highly successful, providing industry Partners with one-on-one networking opportunities with large numbers of meeting professionals. VISIT FLORIDA recently attended ITB Berlin, the world’s largest travel fair.  The international travel market proved to be highly competitive, with 189 countries on-hand to promote their destinations to 174,000 attendees.  The VISIT FLORIDA booth was the largest in the Brand USA pavilion, with 95 Florida industry representatives.
