VISIT FLORIDA’s International Team Kicks Off a Busy Year with New Events

Of the estimated 91.5 million visitors (not including residents) who visited Florida last year, 13.9 million were from Canada and overseas markets.  Compared to 2011, overseas travel to Florida increased 10.3% in 2012, and accounted for 11.3% of total visitation to the state.  Given the importance of these overseas travelers, VISIT FLORIDA’s International Team started the 2013-2014 fiscal year coordinating several new signature events and missions that provided our Florida industry Partners with significant added value. VISIT FLORIDA’s 2012-2013 Annual Report Now Available Online

Annual ReportI am pleased to announce that the 2012-2013 VISIT FLORIDA Annual Report is now available online.   This marks the fourth year we have produced the report in an interactive online format, with the opportunity to download a printable PDF version.  The previous three year’s reports are also available.  We hope making the annual reports available online, with links to more details through archived blog posts and other web content, will allow viewers to move more easily through the wealth of information on VISIT FLORIDA’s efforts to market the Sunshine State and serve as a thought leader for the tourism industry this past fiscal year.
