VISIT FLORIDA Premieres Golf Ad at Historic Trail Press Conference

I am proud to share that VISIT FLORIDA participated in today’s announcement by the Florida Department of State on the launch of the Florida Historic Golf Trail program during a press conference at Winter Park Golf and Country Club.  The Florida Historic Golf Trail celebrates Florida’s early golf heritage from the 1890s through World War II, by featuring historic, publicly accessible golf courses that can still be played on today.  Along with VISIT FLORIDA’s Vice President of Domestic Sales Kimberly Faulk, Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner, Winter Park Mayor Kenneth Bradley, LPGA player Michelle McGann, and Florida’s State Historic Preservation Officer Robert F. VISIT FLORIDA Partnership Brings ‘Big Break’ to the Sunshine State

Big Break Florida flagI am proud to share that today NBC Sports, the Golf Channel and VISIT FLORIDA announced that the popular BIG BREAK reality competition series has picked Amelia Island, Fla., as the competition grounds for its 21st season, premiering Monday, Feb. 24, 2014.  BIG BREAK FLORIDA, produced in partnership with VISIT FLORIDA and taking place at Omni Amelia Island Plantation, will feature a cast of 12 women competing to make their lifelong dreams of playing alongside the world’s top golfers come true.
