It was a very productive week for VISIT FLORIDA, our 17 Partners in the VISIT FLORIDA stand, and other Partners in separate adjacent booths at the recent IMEX America 2013 show in Las Vegas.  IMEX America is the largest global hosted buyer exhibition for the incentive travel, meetings and events industry.  Combining the best in business opportunities, top quality education and networking events, this high-energy show offered Florida attendees endless connections with decision makers, senior buyers and exhibitors from around the U.S. and around the world.  Held annually in October, the show hosts more than 10,000 attendees, including media from 12 countries, and more than 5,200 buyers and exhibitors representing destinations, hotels and resorts, airlines, cruise lines and other travel suppliers from around the globe. This week, VISIT FLORIDA staff participated in the Southeast Tourism Society 2013 Fall Forum held at the Omni Hotel in Jacksonville.  In addition to serving as the host state this year, VISIT FLORIDA partnered with Visit Jacksonville to host a reception and silent auction on the trade show floor.  Over 180 people attended the conference and interacted with peers across the twelve southern states that comprise the STS.
