Sunshine Matters

As residents in many northern cities dig out and set historic snowfall records, meteorologists say more snow is on the way.  Boston alone has been hit with more than 70 inches of snow in the last two weeks.  All of that snow makes a Florida vacation sound even more fantastic than usual.

In January, the VISIT FLORIDA Promotions team worked with our media partners in snow-laden cities to give away 212 warm and sunny Florida vacations.  So far, we have 177 vacation package giveaways set for February.  Just listen to how happy the thought of Florida makes our winners.  Our media partners are getting creative with selling Florida to the winter-weary, like this radio station in Toronto.
