VISIT FLORIDA Insider Program Enjoys Continued Success

Recent analysis shows that people who view VISIT FLORIDA’s “Insider” content are more engaged with our website overall.  These people are 25 percent more likely to complete a “conversion,” which could be anything from ordering a Florida travel guide to clicking through to one of our tourism industry Partner’s website listings. 

This year’s nine Insiders are not just interacting with people on the VISIT FLORIDA website.  They are also out on social media, including Facebook and Twitter, encouraging people to find their Florida vacation answers and information through VISITFLORIDA.com.  Current projections estimate that the Insiders will refer 25,000 click-throughs to the website during the 2010-2011 program year.

I am incredibly proud of the job the Insiders are doing.  They are enthusiastic about their work, which not only shows in the quantity and quality of their posts, but it’s paying off for VISIT FLORIDA.  People who come to the website and view Insider content spend more than 10 minutes on the site.  That’s well above our average of 6.3 minutes.
