VISIT FLORIDA Research Team Releases 2014 Visitor Study

2014 Visitor Study coverAs the sunshine state’s official tourism marketing corporation, VISIT FLORIDA is committed to establishing Florida as the No. 1 travel destination in the world.  In order to reach this goal, we conduct extensive research on the visitors to our state, and publish them yearly in our Florida Visitor Study.  The study pulls together the most recent visitor trend data which we use to develop our marketing strategy for the year.  It can also serve as an invaluable tool to our Partners and friends seeking detailed information to assist with their own marketing efforts.

Using a host of detailed charts and graphs to emphasize key metrics, the 2014 Florida Visitor Study evaluates data on the travel patterns of Florida residents, as well as our domestic and overseas visitors.  To provide the most accurate and current data, VISIT FLORIDA’s Research Team seeks out highly reliable sources, including the U.S. Census Bureau, the U.S. Department of Commerce, D.K. Shifflet & Associates, VisaVue Travel, Statistics Canada, Smith Travel Research, TNS TravelsAmerica, Diio and other independent research sources.
