Floridians Can Help ‘Share a Little Sunshine’ Without Having to Freeze

By on March 2nd, 2011 — 10:18am

Today, Governor Scott and other “Sunshine Ambassadors” are in the midst of a two-day, four-city Share a Little Sunshine tour to take some Florida-style fun and sun on the road to our winter-weary neighbors to the north.  On day one, the team visited chilly Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia and, on day two, have moved on to blustery New York and Chicago.

While the “Sunshine Ambassadors” are busy on their whirlwind tour to Share a Little Sunshine and invite everyone they meet along the way to visit Florida, you can be a part of the movement, too – and without having to travel to the freezing north to do it.  Here are four easy ways you can be involved:

  1. Go to ShareaLittleSunshine.org and send an e-postcard or e-video inviting your out-of-state friends and family to thaw out in sunny Florida
  2. Join the Share a Little Sunshine movement on Facebook at facebook.com/FloridaSunshine
  3. Use this link to send an e-mail on to everyone you know in Florida, asking them to forward it on to others in Florida, so that we quickly get the word out about Share a Little Sunshine to as many residents as possible
  4. Link to ShareaLittleSunshine.org on your website using this how-to information

Join us and be a part of this fun movement to increase jobs and grow the economy by inviting visitors to the Sunshine State!
