VISIT FLORIDA - Mazda PartnershipLast week, in a joint press conference held in conjunction with the Performance Racing Industry trade show in Orlando, VISIT FLORIDA and Mazda North America unveiled an exciting new marketing partnership.  The partnership represents a unique opportunity to develop joint marketing programs that leverage the power of each brand as well as the reach and relevance of each organizations marketing efforts.  The Mazda partnership is innovative and is fully integrated into VISIT FLORIDA and Mazda marketing efforts. 

The marketing partnership includes:

  • A multi-million dollar national Mazda media buy featuring the Mazda Miata RX-5 Convertible and the Sunshine State of Florida,
  • A national dealership promotion in over 800 North American Mazda Dealerships,
  • The creation of the VISIT FLORIDA Cup in conjunction with 5 televised races in the Star Mazda Championship (Sebring, New York City, Chicago, Toronto and Atlanta), 
  • Twelve Mazda Miata RX-5 Convertibles to be included in major VISIT FLORIDA promotional efforts.

In today’s challenging economy, VISIT FLORIDA must leverage our limited marketing resources with complimentary brands if we are going to be able to maintain our position as the No. 1 Travel Destination in the World.  We welcome Mazda to the VISIT FLORIDA team and look forward to great things in the years ahead.
