I am pleased to announce that the 45th Annual Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism will be held September 5-7, 2012 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld. For more than four decades, this event has been recognized as the premier educational conference for the Florida tourism industry, providing the opportunity for participants to learn the latest in marketing strategy, receive critical research data and share best practices.

Hosted each year by VISIT FLORIDA, the Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism provides an opportunity for all members of the Florida tourism industry to network with fellow travel professionals, learn more about participating in VISIT FLORIDA’s wide range of programs and hear from industry experts and keynote speakers about their proven, hands-on strategies for increasing business.

Last year’s event drew more than 750 members of the travel industry, nearly 100 exhibitors and sponsors, and over 20 industry speakers. For the 45th edition, VISIT FLORIDA is offering attendees the opportunity to select specific break out session tracks geared to their personal interests and professional needs.
