“Emeril’s Florida” has quickly become a top-rated television show on both the Cooking Channel and Food Network featuring the high energy celebrity host Emeril Lagasse as he explores dining, entertainment and travel opportunities on location throughout the Sunshine State.  Now in its second year, VISIT FLORIDA is proud to continue our partnership with Emeril to showcase the fantastic food, history and physical beauty that makes Florida such an incredible visitor destination.

Airing three times a week, the 13 different 30-minute episodes feature destinations all over the Florida map.  During Season 1, Emeril traveled to Orlando, South Walton, Kissimmee, Pensacola, Miami, St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Palm Beach and many other locales.  This season, he’s spotlighting various regions of the state, including the East and West Coasts, South Florida and Central Florida.  Along the way, Emeril has gone fishing, horseback riding and played golf, as well as explored a host of attractions and historic locations.  He’s also spotlighted chefs who moved to Florida from foreign countries and opened their own high-end restaurants, and even met an aspiring young chef from the Dominican Republic who was named Florida’s 2013 Top High School Chef.

Each episode features great food, Emeril experiencing a local activity and ends with a “Things to Do” segment for visitors when they’re in the area.  Watching Emeril get out of the kitchen and enjoy some of the great tourist opportunities in Florida is a fun way to showcase the Sunshine State’s beautiful scenery and amazing activities.
